According to reports, gay activists in Los Angeles are furious at derogatory statements regarding gay people in a video that has been circulating on the internet. The amatuer video, which appears to be taken during a private party, shows the blonde referring to someone as a "faggot". The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), are demanding an apology from the Simple Life star. The organisation's president, Neil G. Giuliano, explained, "These are not frivolous words, and to use them as if they are gives tacit sanction to the racism and homophobia they engender." |
