Jennifer Lopez to be honoured

Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez is to be honoured by Amnesty International.

According to the Associated Press, the star is to receive the Artist for Amnesty award for her work on the film Bordertown, which tells the story of the murders of hundreds of Mexican women.

The star will be honoured at the Berlin Film Festival on February 14th; the film will premiere at the same time.

JLo will release her first Spanish-language album, Como Ama Una Mujer, on March 27th.
