Adam Sandler to Star in Zohan

Adam Sandler will star in the film Zohan.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Sandler wants to join the film, which is based on his story You Don't Mess With the Zohan.

The comedy is based on a script by Judd Apatow, Robert Smigel and Adam Sandler. The story follows an Israeli secret service agent who fakes his own death in order to become a hairstylist in New York.

Zohan will begin filming this summer in New York and Los Angeles, and is expected to be released in 2008.
