Robbie Williams gave himself the best birthday present possible by checking himself into rehab, according to mum Jan. Robbie's mum totally supports his decision to go into rehab at the renowned Meadows centre in Arizona. The Feel singer checked in yesterday to seek help for an addiction to prescription drugs. He is reported to be addicted to anti-depressants Seroxat and Xanax and painkiller Vicodin. In addition, Robbie, who went through rehab and detox after his departure from Take That in 1995, is said to have a problem with sleeping pills, insomnia, and caffeine: he apparently gets through 36 double espressos, 20 cans of Red Bull and 60 cigarettes a day. Let's hope he gets the help he needs. Robbie's former band capped their successful comeback with a BRIT Award last night for No.1 single Patience. They thanked Robbie for his part in their success and wished him all the best. |
