A ruling is expected to be made on Anna Nicole Smith's final resting place after and a medical examiner warned that her body should be released for burial as soon as possible.
Further tests have reportedly been carried out at the request of photographer Larry Birkenhead, who is one of the men claiming to be the biological father of Anna Nicole's five-month-old baby daughter Dannielynn Hope.
Anna's lawyer and partner Howard K. Stern, who flew to the Bahamas after Anna's death to be with Dannielynn, is adamant he is the father and is named as such on the baby's birth certificate. A judge will have to decide whether Stern, whom Anna planned to marry within weeks, or Anna's mother Virgie Arthur have the right to bury her.
Virgie wants Anna to return home to Texas, while Howard wants her to rest in the Bahamas where they had made their home. |
