Martin Scorsese's The Aviator, has received 11 nominations for the big Oscar night. Categories in which it has been nominated include, Best Director, Best Actor (Leonardo DiCaprio), and Best Film. Clint Eastwood and his movie Million Dollar Baby and Finding Neverland, starring, Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet, have seven nominations each. In the category for foreign film, Christophe Barratier's Les Choristes is competing against Spanish film The Sea Inside by Alejandro Amenábar. The 77th annual Oscar ceremony will be held on February 27. |
