After much speculation, the film based on the television series Sex and the City may finally be getting the go-ahead. One of the show's stars, Kristin Davis, revealed that the project is coming closer and closer to reality. The actress told USA Today that she will not accept other projects now so that she is free for Sex and the City. "It's the most talked-about, non-greenlit movie ever," Davis told USA Today. "The second we're in preproduction, I'll be sending out invitations to the first day of shooting." Davis also revealed that director Michael Patrick King, has already been working on the script. Since the end of the original series in 2004, negotiations between the four stars have been 'difficult.' |
