Sharon Stone Raises a Million Dollars

Sharon Stone managed to raise a million dollars during the World Economic Forum in Switzerland.

The star, who participated in a debate on poverty, donated $10 000 dollars, and then encouraged others to follow suit.

Within five minutes, the impromptu fundraiser promised a million dollars.  The money will go towards fighting Malaria in Tanzania. Willian Mkapa, Tanzania's President, was present at the event.
