Elton John celebrated his 60th birthday in style with a large gathering of celebrity friends. Sir Paul McCartney, Stella McCartney, Hugh Grant, Kate Moss, the Osbournes, Lulu, Paul O'Grady, Stella McCartney and Thandie Newton were all present at the special bash for Elton and friend Sam Taylor-Wood. Elizabeth Hurley and her new husband Arun Nayar were not able to attend the party, as they were still on their honeymoon. 250 guests were invited to the lavish fancy dress do. Elton is famed for his fancy dress parties and didn't disappoint - he wore a Russian military costume and his long-time partner David Furnish was dressed as a US captain. The couple married in 2005. |
