Angelina Jolie has arrived in Vietnam for the official adoption of her new son.
The boy, whose birth name is Pham Quang Sang, will take the name Pax Thien Jolie, according to reports from Vietnam. At three and a half, Pax is younger than Brad and Angelina's oldest son Maddox but younger than daughters Zahara and Shiloh.
Maddox and Angelina arrived at the Tam Binh orphanage, where Pax has been living since 2003, on Wednesday for the ceremony and formalisation of the speedy adoption. She has adopted Pax as a single mother, because unmarried couples are not allowed to adopt together under Vietnamese law. She will have to wait for a few days while the last bits of paperwork are finalised, then she can take Pax home to Brad and his new sisters.
Pax makes six for the Jolie-Pitt clan - Brad and Angelina are now the parents of 5-year-old Maddox from Cambodia, 3-year-old Pax from Vietnam, 2-year-old Zahara from Ethiopia and 10-month-old Shiloh. Apparently they want 11 kids, 'enough for a football team.' |
