Scarlett Johansson could be set to make her debut on Broadway. According to the New York Post, the 22-year-old actress could join the cast of the musical South Pacific. The Lost in Translation star is being considered for the role of nurse Nellie Forbush for the live show, which will open at the Lincoln Center in January 2008. Auditions for the part will continue next month. Russian tenor Dimitri Hvorostovsky is already being touted as the favourite for the role of Emile De Becque. A source said the show's producers want the the leads to be sexy: "This is not going to be a stodgy old production of South Pacific."
