Heather Mills McCartney has made her debut on the US TV show based on Strictly Come Dancing.
The estranged wife of Paul McCartney won over judges with her first performance, but while judges praised her guts and dancing skills, an online backlash from viewers soon followed.
Wearing a satin gown and gold stilettoes, Heather performed routines which included high kicks with her artificial leg and a near-full splits. She received a standing ovation from some members of the studio audience, but angry Beatles fans were quick to condemn her inclusion on the show and accused the former model of trying to win public sympathy in her bitter divorce battle with Paul McCartney.
The first vote on Dancing with the Stars is next week. |
