The U2 frenzy is continuing with the sale of the first batch of tickets for their world tour. More than 260 000 tickets were sold last weekend. This Irish group start their Vertigo Tour on 28 March. Tickets went on sale last Saturday, and many concerts in the US and Europe have already sold out. These include Chicago, Boston, two in San Diego, San Jose, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Philadelphia Denver. For the first European concert held in Brussels on June 10, more than 55 000 tickets have already been sold. Guitarist, The Edge, is suing the newspaper Sunday World, which reported that the beginning of the Vertigo Tour was due to the guitarist's serious illness. The High Court of Dublin is taking two weeks to listen to the lawyers of both parties. The U2 world tour was initially supposed to debut on March 1 in Miami. It has been pushed back to March 28. |
