The cause of Anna Nicole Smith's death has been publicly announced. The tragic model/actress died in the same way as her son Daniel just months before her, from a mixture of prescription medication. Following her death on February 8th at the Seminol Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida, an autopsy was carried out and the verdict was her death was accidental, with no foul play involved and no illegal substances involved. Medical expert Joshua Perper confirmed that Anna died as a result of a mixture of lethal prescription medication, reported to be anti-depressants and other drugs to fight an infection from a vitamin injection she had. Following her death, prescription medication was found in her hotel room. Anna Nicole Smith arrived in Florida on February 5 and had planned to stay in the United States for four days. Just five months before her death, her 20-year-old son Daniel died of a prescription drug overdose. Anna Nicole Smith was 39. The case surrounding her death is now closed. |
