J. Lo and Director of Selena Planning New Film

Jennifer Lopez has accepted a part in Gregory Nava's next film, who she worked with in Selena.

Her first major part, she played a Mexican singer in a tragic story about Selena Perez.

After a series of flops, including Gigli and The Wedding Planner, Lopez is going back to work for the director that made her famous.  She will play a journalist sent on assignment to Ciudad Juarez, to investigate a series of murders.

Filming will begin in March.
