Ashlee Simpson is to record a duet with with The Cure singer Robert Smith for her new album. The two met through their mutual friend Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, though Wentz himself denies he had anything to do with the duet, saying, "I doubt I had anything to do with it, because they were friends since she was performing in Chicago. I think the collaboration could be great." 22-year-old Ashlee will also be working with Keane Tim Rice-Oxley and Chad Hugo of The Neptunes on her follow-up to I Am Me. |
