Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's tempestuous marriage will officially end on 24th April after a divorce hearing. The judge gave Whitney custody of their 13-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina.
The rejuvenated singer, who finally decided to divorce her bad boy husband in October last year, told the court Brown was "unreliable" and could not be depended on to look after her daughter. .
Brown was only released from prison in February after serving time for not paying maintenance for children from a previous relationship. The couple married in 1992 at the height of Whitney's fame, but their marriage was dogged by his spells in jail and her drug problems. Whitney is set for a return to the music business and is working on a new album. |
