DNA test results on Anna Nicole Smith's daughter Dannielynn have revealed that photographer Larry Birkhead is the father of the seven-month-old baby girl. An overjoyed Birkhead made the announcement himself to journalists waiting outside the Bahamian court where the results were announced. He said, "My baby's gonna be coming home pretty soon." Dannielynn Hope is currently in the custody of Anna's partner, lawyer Howard K. Stern, who was presumed to be her father until yesterday's shock ruling and is named as her father on her birth certificate. Stern said, "We're gonna do what we can to make sure that the best interests of Dannielynn are carried out." He asked for a "gradual transition" for Dannielynn's sake. Dannielynn was born in the Bahamas on September 7th and is the sole heir to her mother's estate, which could be worth over $500 million. Anna Nicole married Texan billionaire J. Howard Marshall when she was in her twenties and he was nearly ninety, and her baby daughter could inherit the lot. |
