Beautiful Day by U2 has been voted the favourite song to listen to in the car. Autoglass performed a survey on 4500 regular drivers, and found the winning song to be on U2's album, All That You Can't Leave Behind, (2000). Other close contenders were the classics, We Are the Champions by Queen and Layla by Eric Clapton. Among contemporary artists, Franz Ferdinand took the lead with Take me Out. They were closely followed by Radio, sung by Robbie Williams and I Believe in a Thing Called Love by The Darkness. The survey showed that 64.8% of the respondants listen to music whilst travelling by car. |
