Madonna has arrived in Malawi with her adopted son David Banda. The two will be meeting David's biological father in the next few days. Despite rumours that Madonna has returned to Africa to adopt another child, she explained that her trip is purely for charity purposes. Madonna is in Malawi to help her Raising Malawi organisation, which offers food, housing, education and other services to the country's millions of orphans. The adoption of little David has not been easy for Madonna, who has faced criticism from several human rights organisations. According to the superiour court of Malawi, David is allowed to live with Madonna and her family for 18 months. The child's progress will then be evaluated before the adoption is formalised. |
