John Travolta has been breaking noise pollution laws in his home state of Maine. The 53-year-old star is passionate about planes and has a Gulfstream jet, which he often flies into his home in the middle of the night...much to the anger of the rest of the neighbourhood in Owl's Head. The Be Cool actor often uses nearby Knox County airport but noise pollution rules state that planes are not to arrive or depart between the hours of 10 p.M. and 6 a.M. Resident Jeff Northgraves said of the law, "Pilots have abided by that with one exception - Travolta." Northgraves, who works at the airport, has received letters protesting against the special treatment that Travolta has been given. |
