US shooting film put on hold

A US film about a Chinese university student who murders fellow students after his chances of earning a Nobel prize are lost due to political reasons has been put on the back burner.

Dark Matter, starring Meryl Streep, has been delayed indefinitely because the subject matter was thought to be too similar to the recent massacre at Virginia Tech on 17th April.
