Courtney Love Gets 3 Years Probation

Courtney Love has struck a deal with the district attorney of Los Angeles regarding charges of assault and drug possession.

By making a deal with the prosecution, Courtney Love will avoid prison.

Love, 40, will be forced to go through detox, take an anger management/violence workshop and pay a $1000.00 fine.

The star was also sentenced to 18 months of  probation for possesion of OxyContin, a strong analgesic, and for possession of a false prescription.
