The crowds were out in force for the launch of the Kate Moss for TopShop collection in London yesterday. Kate appeared as a mannequin in the window of the brand's flagship store in Oxford Street flag, wearing a stunning red dress from her collection.
Shoppers were limited to 20 minutes and 5 items of clothing, and though massive stocks were ordered in, Kate Moss designs are already selling on E-bay for more than double their retail price.
Kate's line is very Eighties-inspired, and includes more than 80 pieces of clothing, bags and accessories. Kate's trademark skinny jeans, waistcoats and denim hotpants are a big feature. After losing numerous lucrative contracts after her cocaine scandal in 2006, Kate is back to being hot property again and making waves as a designer. She was paid £3 million for her TopShop range. |
