George Michael pleads guilty

George Michael has pled guilty to charges of driving under the influence.

The 43-year-old appeared in a London court to face charges of driving while under the influence of drugs last October.

The former Wham! singer addressed the court, saying, "I did something very stupid and I am very ashamed." The singer said, "I am perfectly aware that I did something very wrong and got into my car when I was unfit to drive."

Michael will be sentenced on May 30th.
