Prince will perform 21 shows in London later this year before taking a break to study the Bible. The Purple Rain singer will kick his tour off on August 1st at the O2 arena, which has a capacity of 20,000 people. During a press conference yesterday, the singer explained why he's staging all his shows in the capital: "Last time I was here, a lot of people didn't get to see me, so we're trying to make it affordable for everybody," he said. "We play so many different styles of music, it's really hard to get a full dose of what we do unless you come to several shows." So we're supposed to go more than once?! |
