Angelina Jolie has revealed Brad Pitt changed her mind about having a biological child and made her decide to try for a baby.
Brad and Angelina's daughter Shiloh Nouvel, who turns one next month, has three older adopted siblings, Maddox, Zahara and Pax, from Cambodia, Ethiopia and Vietnam respectively. Angelina once said she intended to adopt all her children from impoverished backgrounds around the world rather than have her own biological kids, but then along came Brad and Ange says she realised she could have both.
"I always said I was happy never to have a child biologically," she revealed in an interview. Brad told me he hadn't given up that thought. Then, after Z came home, I saw Brad with her and Mad, and I realised how much he loved them, that a biological child would not in any way be a threat."
Angelina also revealed she doesn't want to marry Brad because their four children bind them to each other more than being officially man and wife. "We've both been married before," she said (to Johnny Lee Miller, then Billy Bob Thornton, and to Jennifer Aniston respectively). "Our focus when we got together was family, and we are legally bound to our children. That really seems to be the most important thing." |
