Actor Pierce Brosnan demanded $42 million dollars US to reprise his role as James Bond for the last time. British website Contactmusic.com reported that the 51 year old Irish actor made the astronomical demand to producers for the role of secret agent in Casino Royale. The producers have decided to pass on Brosnon in favor of finding a new actor to play the role of 007. Brosnan says he was "surprised, disappointed and saddened" when he found out the producers' decision. The star claims his wage "was an honest fee in terms of how much blood, sweat and tears I put into the role". |
