Troubled actor David Hasselhoff has been taken to hospital at least 12 times for treatment for alcohol poisoning, according to his ex-wife Pamela Bach. Earlier this month, a video was released showing a drunken Hasselhoff rolling on the floor trying to eat a hamburger and shouting expletives at his daughter, who filmed the epidose. The former Baywatch star's attorney, Melvin Goldsman, denies that the actor has been treated for alcohol poisoning. Hasselhoff and Bach were married for 16 years before splitting in June 2006. Bach said Hasselhoff's drinking problems caused the breakup, saying, "Over time, the disease eroded the relationship. The children absolutely love their father." |
