U2's Bono, is one of 166 people being considered for a Nobel Peace Prize. Even though the final list is not yet known, the Irish singer and activist has made the list of candidates to be interviewed by the Nobel Institute. For many years, the singer has been fighting to cancel the bebt of third world countries, specifically in Africa. . This year's winner wiill be announced in Oslo, on 10 December. In 2004 the prize went to Kenyan ecology activist, Wangari Maathai, the first African woman to receive the award. |
