Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie has revealed she had her doubts about launching her solo career. Despite winning an army of fans through her work with the chart-topping Peas, the singer says she was a bag of nerves when she embarked upon her first solo tour. According to MSNBC, Fergie said, “I had fears all the way, I was nervous at first getting on stage without my guys ... having a show be all my material. Now I'M getting more comfortable with it and I'M having fun with it.” Fergie, 32, is enjoying every minute of her Verizon VIP Tour, which kicked off last week. The singer says that it's a dream come true for her to front her own live show. “I'M finally proving to myself that I can handle the stage,” she said. “With this, I'M taking the lead, so it's finding out what I can do.” Fergie's solo album was released last year. She has since sold more than one million copies and had hits such as Fergalicious and London Bridge. |
