John Lennon's piano up for sale

The piano that was played by John Lennon on the day he died is for sale at a cost of $375,000.

The concert piano was in a New York recording studio where the former Beatle recorded his album Imagine in 1971. The piano has been moved since the studio closed in the 1990s.

According to BBC News, the piano was Lennon's favourite. He'd played the instrument just hours before he was shot dead on December 8, 1980.

Bob Dylan and Don McLean have also played the same piano.
