The British singer, who is currently touring in the US, has revealed that her excessive partying is out of control, and now hopes that getting back in the recording studio will motivate her to cut down on her drinking.

According to sources, Allen said, "I'M an alcoholic now. It's not good and that's why I want to get back into the studio. I've actually pulled myself aside and said it will kill me if I keep it up."

Allen's father defended his daughter, saying that she has been under a lot of pressure. Lily has found touring in the US (to promote her album Alright Still ) very tough, and recently wrote a controversial blog in which she talked about hating her body. Keith Allen said, "She felt down about going on tour in the US and has been alone on the road. That's very hard."
