George Michael found guilty

Singer George Michael has been found guilty of driving under the influence.

The singer escaped a prison sentence and followed up his court appearance with the first ever show at the new Wembley. Michael, 43, was sentenced to 100 hours' community service and his driver's license has been revoked for two years. The singer was arrested last October after he was found asleep at the wheel of his car.

"I'M glad to put this behind me", Michael said. "Now I'M off to do the biggest show of my life."
