| A New York resident has filed a lawsuit against the producers of the film Borat: Cultural Learnings Of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation Of Kazakhstan. Jeffrey Lemerond, 31, claims that his rights were violated when he was filmed for a brief appearance in the film, which starred Sacha Baron Cohen in the role of spoof Kazakh journalist Borat Sadiyev. Lemerond says he never gave his permission to be filmed, and that he has been ridiculed ever since. The scene in question features Lemerond running away from Borat, who was trying to hug him in the street. Lemerond says he has endured suffering as result of Baron Cohen's "outrageous and illegal conduct." |
