Angelina Jolie has spoken out about her recent dramatic weight loss, blaming the death of her mother rather than the Hollywood size zero trend. Last January, Jolie lost her mother Marcheline Bertrand to ovarian cancer, and took the loss very hard. At the New York premiere of her film A Mighty Heart, the actress said her mother's death has affected her own health and caused her to lose weight. She explained, "I've always been lean and this year I lost my mom and I've gone through a lot." The 32-year-old added, "I have four kids and I finished breastfeeding - it's been hard to get my nutrition back on track." Angelina is a busy mum to Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh, and is reported to be seeking to adopt a fifth child from the Czech Republic. |
