The Spice Girls are to return to pop with a new song called Woman. The song was written in 1999, after Geri Halliwell quit the group. A source told The People, "It is a very catchy pop tune so they thought it would be great to use it now. But they have updated it, with Geri adding her vocals." The release of the song will mark the first time that the Spice Girls have performed together since their split in 2000. According to the paper, a compilation album will be released on November 5th. The Spice Girls became an instant success with their first single Wannabe in 1996. They went on to become the biggest girl group ever, selling more than 53 million albums.
