David Beckham and Kate Moss are both set to become godparents to the same child.
The pair have agreed to be moral guardians to actress Davinia Taylor and sports agent Dave Gardner's newborn baby son Grey.
A source said: "Davinia and Dave knew as soon as Davinia was pregnant who they wanted for godparents. Davinia could hardly stop smiling when Dave and Kate agreed."
Beckham is friends with Gardner from their days at Manchester United and will meet baby Grey for the first time on Sunday (01.06.07). Taylor is still in London's Portland Hospital after giving birth on Tuesday (26.06.07), and Moss is believed to have paid her a visit yesterday afternoon (27.06.07).
The source said: "Kate was desperate to see Davinia and her godson and is absolutely delighted about being a godmother."
Beckham was the best man at Gardner and Taylor's 2003 wedding, while his son Brooklyn was a page boy. British actress Taylor has been friends with Moss for years after they both became part of the same trendy London social set. |
