Crowe and DiCaprio team up for film

Russell Crowe will join Leonardo DiCaprio in the film Body of Lies, a Warner Bros. project being directed by Ridley Scott.

The project is an adaptation of the David Ignatius novel, and filming is scheduled to begin this autumn.

Crowe will play Ed Hoffman, a manipulative CIA boss who teams with Roger Ferris (DiCaprio) to capture a dangerous Al Qaida leader who plans to attack America.

DiCaprio was originally hired to play the role of the CIA agent in April, but Crowe will now have that role.
