The release date for the next Jessica Simpson film, Blonde Ambition, has been pushed back for the second time. According to the New York Daily News, Simpson's father and manager, Joe Simpson, has decided that it's not the right time to release the film. Originally scheduled to be released on August 3, the movie is now scheduled to be in theatres at the end of August. Joe Simpson cites force competition at the box-offices for his decision. Another source has revealed that Jessica Simpson was not working as hard as she could have during the filming of Blonde Ambition, and that she was often easily distracted. Blonde Ambition is a new version of the Mike Nichols film Working Girl, which starred Melanie Griffith. Luke Wilson also stars in the movie. |
