| The city of Springfield, Vermont has been named as the location for the world premiere of The Simpsons Movie. After an Internet survey, the small Vermont town of 9,300 was chosen for the movie premiere, which will take place on July 21. Fourteen towns, all called Springfield, were competing for the honour. Each town was invited to present a video to help persuade voters to choose their city. |
