The star of the television series The O.C., who stars with Ryan in the new film In the Land of Women, believes that he is not up to the standards of the actress.  Brody told InStyle magazine, "It was a little intimidating when I started thinking about the fact that she has acted opposite some of the best actors of a generation. Like, 'Oh man, I hope she's not incredibly bummed that I'M not Russell Crowe or Tom Hanks."

Now that The O.C. has finished, the actor has decided to grow a beard.  He added, "I'M going to grow the best beard I can. I've had to shave everyday for four years and I've never been more excited not to shave - I've dreamt about this."
