The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers has become a father for the first time.
The singer's wife, Tana, gave birth to a baby boy on Saturday (14.07.07).
Both mother and baby, whose name has not yet been released, are doing well and Brandon is said to be "thrilled".
The couple married in an intimate ceremony in 2005 on a Honolulu beach.
Last year, Brandon, 26, revealed he and Tana, also 26, were ready to start a family.
He admitted babies were top of their agenda and they found it hard to discuss anything else.
He said: "Tana and I talk about starting a family all the time.
"It'll happen sooner rather than later. I have 19 little nieces and nephews, so I've been around babies a long time. I was six when my first niece was born."
Meanwhile, Brandon is convinced he is going to die on his birthday - because a Ouija board predicted it.
The musician is paranoid about the number 621, which matches his birthday June 21, because a 'spirit' told him he would die on that day.
Brandon - whose band have had a string of chart-topping hits, including 'When We Were Young' and 'Mr. Brightside' - said: "It's just stupid, it is not a way to live. Once I had to fly to Glastonbury on my birthday, that was a real mess." |
