Northen rockers Arctic Monkeys are planning to leave their home town of Sheffield to live in London. The band's four members, who all grew up in the town, may now be forced to move to London because they spend so much time there. Lead singer Alex Turner told The Sun, "We haven't spent a great deal of time in Sheffield lately and maybe after this year we might want to go somewhere else. Staying in Sheffield is not a deliberate anti-London thing. We're not afraid of living there, but it will be a real hassle not having our mothers around to do our washing though." The 21-year-old singer also believes that living in Sheffield brings something special to his music and inspires his writing. |
