Actor Jude Law recently went to Afghanistan to promote peace in the country. The star of the films Cold Mountain, Closer and The Holiday went to Afghanistan to help the United Nations promote their Peace Day, which will take place on September 21st. The actor was accompanied by filmmaker Jeremy Gilley and a film crew. They interviewed children, government ministers and community leaders to make a documentary for Peace Day. Law's trip was conducted in secret for security reasons. Gilley's documentary will be shown in 50 different countries, and at more than 70 film festivals around the world. |
