Scarlett Johansson has reportedly splashed out £400,000 on a "gigantic" new home.
The 22-year-old actress bought the seven-bedroom Los Angeles property located in the Hollywood Hills from film director Harold Becker. A source said: "It's a gigantic property with seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The place spans over 4,352sq ft."
The 'Lost in Translation' star will have a host of celebrity neighbours. They include Brad Pitt and his partner Angelina Jolie, Sharon Stone, Meg Ryan and Denzel Washington.
However, the £400,000 price tag is dwarfed by the sums other stars have laid out for their Los Angeles homes. Victoria and David Beckham - who moved to the US with their three sons earlier this month after David signed a multi-million dollar deal with the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team - paid a staggering £11 million for their new Beverly Hills home. Their six-bedroom villa is located just down the road from good friends Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, who live in a £17 million property that sits on 1.3 acres. And actress Salma Hayek reportedly bought actor Kelsey Grammer's Bel-Air property for £10 million in June this year. |
