Actress Kate Hudson is denying dating actor Dax Shepard. Hudson has been single since her break up with Owen Wilson, star of You, Me & Dupree in May. She is also going through a divorce from rocker Chris Robinson. Hudson and Shepard were seen recently at a restaurant in Malibu, and Shepard removed his shirt to permit Hudson to hide her face. A rep for the actress insisted that the couple was dining with a group of friends, and that Hudson and Shepard's relationship is strictly platonic. "It wasn't a date. Just a group of friends having dinner and some fun."
