Mena Suvari has shaved her head for her next film. The actress, who sported long blonde hair in the film American Beauty showed off her new do at a dinner with a friend in Beverly Hills last week. A rep for Suvari revealed that the actress shaved her head last June during the filming of a movie in Spain. In the film, Suvari plays a young newlywed who falls in love with an Italian during her honeymoon. It is not the first time the actress has sacrifices her hair for a role. According to FemaleFirst, the actress said, "I was really excited to get to shave my head - it's something I'd wanted to do for a while and now I had a good excuse. It was nice to shed that level of vanity for a girl." |
