Actor Robert Downey Jr. will join George Clooney in the film Goodnight, and Good Luck. Produced by Clooney Studio, Goodnight, and Good Luck will have George Clooney as both star and director. The film tells the story of CBS news presenter Edward R. Murrow, who had interviewed American Senator Joseph McCarthy in the 1950s. Filming this weekend in Los Angeles, and should last seven weeks. In addition to Clooney (Ocean's Eleven) and Downey Jr. (Chaplin), Goodnight, and Good Luck also stars David Strathairn (Sneakers) and Patricia Clarkson (The Green Mile). |
