Jay-Z threatened to throw Rihanna out a window. According to FemaleFirst, Jay-Z threatened the singer Rihanna to sign a record deal with his record label. The 19-year-old singer of the hit song Umbrella was told that she needed to sign with him or she would be thrown out a window. Rihanna explained, "The audition definitely went well. They (Def Jam) locked me into the office - till 3am. And Jay Z said, 'There's only two ways out. Out the door after you sign this deal. Or through this window...' and we were on the 29th floor.
